God damn why has it taken me so many years to do a Monkey Island fan art. It's like, the best thing evar.

So yes, my two favourite characters; Wally the midget cartographer (aka Bloodnose the pirate) and Murray the EVIL DEMONIC TALKING SKULL that lacks the ability to do anything but talk incessantly.

(This is just a quickie as I finished this semesters work and I needed to draw something nice and simple.)

Now THAT'S what I call Monkey Island fanart.

Quite possibly the best MI3 fanart I've seen. One thing that makes it so fantastic is that it's very faithful to the original style and feel of the game.

This would make a good poster. Or on a mug. If you did a series of them and put them on Cafepress or something, I'd totally get one.

I always thought there was a contradiction in Wally's character. his monocle was on his right eye in MI2, and it was UNDER the eyepatch (that's what Guybrush says) on his left eye in MI3.
anyway, I love this.

Haha yeah... I guess a few little discrepancies can be forgiven in an epic adventure game! I did it this way as a sort of 'artistic decision' so that you could see both at once. A pirate with a monocle is just too funny!
